celebrated dear's birthday with him yesterday! my boy's a year older! whoo! haha. dear's parents had treated me to lunch the saturday before to celebrate dear's bday..yupp..i had made oreo cheesecake for him on wed night with a little help from my mom but i like made it from scratch and all..planned to surprise dear with it during dinner..the cake is not very appealing aesthetically and i was hoping it tasted good cos like the cake was brownish rather than yellowish-white with chunks of oreo..haha. so yea dear went for dim sum lunch with parents and grandma so met him in town..thot i was gonna be late and dear would arrive before me but luckily he didnt so i chionged to hotel phoenix which is right next to somerset mrt..that's where we're gonna have buffet dinner so went to the cafe and requested the waitress ot keep cake in the fridge first..i had told dear that i was gonna be in the loo cos then i'll be walkin to him in the same direction but then i think i took abit too long and dear had gone to the loo but he said he didnt see me..i actually claimed i was waiting to the auntie to finish cleaning the toilet..but yea dear said he didnt see me outside the loo waiting..so yea he said i must have gone to pass a fren his present right cos i had told him before that i have big present for him..so i just played along and dear somehow concluded i had passes cach his present and he kept askin questions the whole time even during the movie..haha. checked my phone for calls and smses and blah but cldnt discover anything..heh. anw we watched ice age 2! recently dear and i keep watching shows on the premiere day..so yea i found it rather entertaining and was utterly amused by dear's imitation of sid the sloth..like was the life! review said the show's more drama than comedy but i thot there were heartwarming and heartpounding moments..and hilarious moments too esp the squirrel that kept looking for his acorn! its hilarious and the noises it makes simply cracks the cinema up!overall, i still like the show tho supposedly more drama..its still and entertaining show to catch! yuppers..so yea after the show we were stuck in cine the whole time cos it was raining so we cldnt make our way anywhere else..thank goodness the rain had lightened by the time it was dinner so we could walk over to hotel phoenix..dear and i have concluded we're a food couple..haha always willing to spend and chionging buffets and good food..haha. buffet was quite a spread of different cuisines but i think i was expecting a larger selection considering the price and the hype dear had abt it..the prata was really good tho! sedap! licks my lips and makes the thumbs up gesture(: after dessert i took the cake out and i had alr told dear while we were taking dessert that i had a big cake for him cos he mentioned parents gonna buy cake for him too so thot i better tell him first lorz..could tell dear was a little disappointed la cos he was expecting cach to barge into the cafe with a cake..that was bought not homemade..and he thot it wldnt be that nice la..how very terrible of him! hee. turned out dear loved the cake! haha! tho its not so nice ot look at..its delicious i must say but we were both too stuffed to finish our slice..so we packed the rest of the cake and headed home..wad a wonderful day with my boy! third birthday of his that ive celebrated with him..hee..first bday was our second date in j1 if im not wrong..we ate swenson's..haha fond memories..hope i get to celebrate many more bdays with dear! wow i realise i hadnt paragraphed till now..haha im lazy..anw dear just told me today that first time he gets to book out is on 14th april good friday a week after he enlists and unfortunately i'll be flying away to japan on 13th close to midnight..so im hoping dear will book out 13th night and maybe can see each other awhile before i see him another week later..really really hope so! mom actually reminded me that dear will book out night before la else i'll still be complaining now..how nice of her! haha but she was actually thinking of like dear and i can talk to each other on phone..i think she doesnt realise normally also can talk on phone at night..haha.
ok yupp so today began my journey to the faraway macpherson which turned out not-so-faraway where i met shortie to go collect our jeans..yay yay yay. its my first pair of levi's jeans actually..BEAMS(: but then i tried it just and it seems to be much tighter than when i tried it in the shops..how how how? im thinkin maybe cos i tried after dinner just now but like even the thigh part is tight which wasnt the case before! i cldnt have grown fatter by to much in say 2weeks right?! its suppose to shrink in length and expand in width a little after wash but if i wash cannot exchange size alr..bleah. maybe i shall try it again tmr morning..haha. hoping the jeans will expand overnight..maybe it was very squashed in the bag with me walking arnd with it entire day today..yes yes that must be it! hehe. so after collecting jeans went to meet mom at millenia walk foodcourt had lunch..the western food that rocks! portion uber huge..and the fries for some reason tasted like it was really made of potato..like yu can really taste the potato unlike other fries ive eating..not even those from macs..yupp then walked suntec, citilink, robinson's..went stamford house to choose pics..then headed to westmall where mom trimmed her hair..had dinner at jp where i spotted peter and kian! peter had smsed in the day to ask if i was at jp cos he and kian were there..they booked out of ocs to take pilot test but i wasnt there..so i said later if i go back there for dinner arrange to meet up but in the end while walking outta jp to swenson's i suddenly saw 3 army boys walking out too and one was wearing specs that looked like peter's! haha and the guy behind him looked like kian.. so i went up to them and yea! really them! so talked to them for awhile..they were on their way back to camp alr so how coincidental that i spotted them! haha. yupp had swenson's for dinner with mom and i tried the crunchie cone thingy for the first time..the guy packed it in dried ice so i could eat it only when i get home..so so so soooo nutty! im absloutely a nut fan! mom couldnt resist and took several bites off it too..haha.
ok i seemed to have typed a really long narrative compo..haha too tired to think of anything intelligent now so i think that will be all..oh ya read my horoscope from life! today and it said sth like i have to consider whether i really fit into this social ompany of is the pressure to fit in too great? hmmm seems to be really apt at this point in time..haha laughs it off..alrighty till my next entry!
oh my a week more and dear's going into army! screams!!!! haha who looks more like the home alone boy grabbing his face! :P
