well im back from the land of yellow shirts..haha. cos many (in fact many is an understatement) thai ppl were wearing yellow shirts in celebration of their king's birthday..well im pleased with the amt of history i picked up fom this trip..this is their longest reigning king who has been on the throne for 19years..its this king who managed to stop ppl from growing poppy plants and selling opium to make their living at the Golder Triangle..he bought scores of land so these opium farmers could grow and sell apples instead..but soon the cheaper apples sold in china made this trade unprofitable and these farmers soon went back to growing opium..so he then bought summore land so these ppl could rear bees instead and that has since elimintaed the problem..therefore this king is the most respected king for the thais..and the previous thai king was actually a thai chinese..he sat on the throne for 16years and everntually they ceased his rule so that the thais could takeover else thailand would probably be called chinaland..all these came from the tour guide from the half day city tour i took..haha. the most ive learnt from a trip to bangkok..of course there's lots more..
so yea did shoppin as well..first time i go for a real shopping trip as i nv used to be a shoppin person..bot quite alot of stuff for by my standards la..after getting onto the plane back then i start to regret not buying more since its really so cheap..haha. hope the things i bot were not impulsive buys..shall upload some photos later..
anw its the hols..yea but it'll be some time before i get to see my dear..like i told him just now..weekends dont seem as complete without him..oh wells..hope time can fast forward..and im feeling kinda sian that it seems ppl are busy and im not so..was lookin forward to dance this hols but somehow no news at all..shrugs.
everyday is precious, do something meaningful everyday.tts wads dear told me just now..kinda hit me..haha. made me abit more motivated..but really only abit more la huh cos im naturally lazy..bleah.
anyhow i played quite alot of minesweeper during the exam period..like in between studying i'll play minesweeper as a break..got my mom hooked too..its the first time i figured out how to play the game logically without clicking away randomly at the squares..haha. and yea i completed beginner and intermediate stage! then started to get my timings shorter and shorter..really takes alot of concentration man..haha.
oh yea im having difficulty slotting my pes for next sem..im getting pretty frustrated with having to do all these registration shit online and it just doesnt seem to be working out for me..cant slot in those i wanna take without changing my classes which means new tutorial mates all over again..sigh. im at a loss as to how to do this stuff..eergh.
